kona

What is it that you require of me?

Sometimes, Kona has this superior look on her face, as if to say "I am much too important to care with you commoner."

You What?!

Just the right placement of the finger and Kona's terrified look, I'm not sure what to say

Another Way Kona Sleeps

Legs completely extended, eyes peeking, resting against the luggage, obviously one of the best ways to sleep.

Black Beauty

Maybe it's just because Kona is black. I have pretty strong feelings that little kids should be able to ride Kona like a stallion. Only Black Beauty did not have fat rolls when someone sat upon him....

Joyful

Sometimes, I realize that we really need to get Kona out more. She gets extremely excited about car rides. All we have to say is "Kona, want to go for a ride?" Tail wags, jumping, strange excited gurgle from her throat and we're off.

Kona's Safety Tip

(In serious, Smokey the Bear Dialogue)

Kids, only you can wear your seat belts, to prevent forest fires.

Kona's Way of Sleeping while Traveling

There will be a couple of parts to this, Kona has a way of sleeping in the oddest ways. Within a four hour drive you will see many creative ways in which the back of an extended Tundra with luggage, can be comfy.

Squished head, with neck in a 90 degree angle, complete with legs dangling off the short back seat.

Love the wind in my ears

For some reason, we find joy in watching Kona stick her head out the window, close her eyes and let the ears flap.

I always laugh when driving by other vehicles with their beloved pooch out the window. Maybe that's why we let Kona do it. Joy.

The Dukes

Kona's Cousin

Daisy Dukes

Moon Boots

The things I put up with.
